In 1964, in a modest workshop tucked beneath the Himalayan foothills, Shri Ramachandra Sharma rolled the first Shree Himalaya agarbatti. He had two convictions: that prayer deserves the finest fragrance, and that fragrance is the purest form of devotion.
Six decades later, three generations of the Sharma family — and over 600 artisans — continue that quiet promise. We still source sandalwood from Mysore, attars from Kannauj, herbs from the Himalayan slopes, and resins from Assam's deep forests. We still test every batch against the same uncompromising standards. We still believe that what we make is not a product, but a part of someone's prayer.
Today, Shree Himalaya reaches homes, temples and altars across all 28 Indian states and over 40 countries. We remain a family-led brand — slower than we could be, more careful than we need to be — because that is how heritage is kept.
Founded in the foothills of the Himalayas.
First national distribution network across India.
ISO 9001 certification & modern facility expansion.
Launch of the Royal Saffron heritage collection.
Export to 40+ countries worldwide.
60 years of unbroken devotion.

Every Shree Himalaya stick passes through 22 quality checks and 12 pairs of artisan hands. We measure nothing more carefully than the fragrance — and nothing more proudly than the trust of the families who light our agarbatti each morning.
That trust, earned across three generations, is the only certification that matters to us.
